PreSales Engineer

The primary role of the Presales Engineer is to communicate and demonstrate the features, capabilities, and benefits of using the WhizAI platform. The pre-sales engineer will partner with account executives to guide potential clients in evaluating the WhizAI platform for GenAI-powered self-serve and advanced analytics. The pre-sales engineer provides in-depth technical knowledge and support during product evaluation, leads technology and architecture discussions with clients and prospects, and manages demo assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Demo product capabilities for pre-qualified opportunities for the WhizAI platform.
  • Lead technical discussions related to product architecture and solutions to potential customers.
  • Conduct technical working sessions to jointly architect solutions to business problems leveraging the WhizAI platform with prospective new customers.
  • Remain current on WhizAI solutions and maintain familiarity and adherence to all company methods and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain demo assets internally.
  • Work with sales management to drive sales through optimizing processes, training the team, and developing a culture of collaboration, learning, and success.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of pre-sales or consultant experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data management, data science, or related fields, including at least three years of experience in the field.
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL and Databases
  • Excellent knowledge of designing and implementation of ETL processes
  • Excellent knowledge of Python Programming and processing JSON, XML, and CSV files
  • Shell Scripting and good knowledge of Linux commands non-technical
  • Good communication & analytical skills
  • Ability to handle complex selling situations involving multiple departments and organizational levels (e.g., Line of business, C-suite, IT, etc.)
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and continuously re-prioritize while maintaining a constant focus on participating in the sales process
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and desire to solve problems
  • Life Sciences, Med Device, or Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
  • Experience working on reporting and analytical products is a plus.
  • Travel up to 40% or as required.

Additional Skills:

  • Ability to work within a virtual global team environment
  • Knowledge of current data modeling and data warehouse concepts, issues, practices, methodologies, and trends in the business intelligence (BI) domain
  • Experience in data warehousing, architectural design, dimensional modeling (star schema), ETL, and data migration
  • Understanding of client business concerns to lead translation into technical inputs and analytical outputs
  • Knowledge of cloud-based architecture is a plus.
  • Knowledge of LLMs, NLP and AI analytics-based products/solutions
  • High learning agility and ability to solve complex problems
